Will Micro-Blading Damage My Real Eyebrows?

Eyebrows are important. And you don’t know how important until someone you know changes their eyebrows! So, how do you make sure that you can keep your real eyebrows healthy while still reducing the maintenance and keeping them looking great with micro-blading?

What if you decided to stop maintaining the touch-ups on your eyebrows? What happens then? Does the hair in your brows change how it grows after micro-blading? And can it damage your real eyebrows?

The short answer is, “no.” Micro-blading does not damage your real eyebrows, and it doesn’t change how your hair grows naturally. It doesn’t make your hair grow slower or faster, even when you reshape your entire brow. So, great news if you have full brows you want to define and shape. Also, great news if you have overplucked or naturally thin brows and you want a fuller look.

Micro-blading for Sparse or Overfull Eyebrows

If you have thin or sparse eyebrows, a semi-permanent procedure like microblading offers you the appearance of fuller, more even eyebrows. Looks like you is naturally lucky enough to have perfect brows! The before and after showcase how Microblading can transform those lightened brows into just the perfect toned fuller looking eyebrows, the perfect framing to your eyes.

Traditional Tattoo

You may have had Traditional cosmetic tattoo done in the past. Or perhaps you know someone who did, so you hesitate to consider new micro-blading procedures. Worry no more!

Before the rise of the newer cosmetic tattoo techniques, some clients might have been left with scarring. Those older procedures left a mark, making it take longer to grow out brows.

The depth of those old-fashioned handheld blades, especially in the hands of an inexperienced practitioner, went deeper than the digital machines of today. That deeper cut went below the top few skin layers, exposing blood vessels and sometimes leaving a small scar. Of course, some clients were more likely to have problems than others, so by no means were the issues universal. Also, It is your professional tattoo artist’s responsibility to have the knowledge and use the right equipment and technique in order to minimize the potential risk of damage to the client’s skin.

In order to achieve the best desired brow look, make sure to confirm your tattoo artist’s credibility of training as well as her previous experiences. In addition, please feel free to ask questions and share your concerns prior to the treatment so that you can be confident and excited going into the procedure. Get in touch with us here at Celebrity, and we’ll answer all your questions!
