The combination of wavelengths not only allows for effective hair removal, but is also a solution for epidermal pigmented lesions, vascular lesions and Cutera’s signature laser genesis skin revitalization procedure.

Excel HR combines the gold standard laser wavelengths for hair removal. The 755 nm Alexandrite laser is highly absorbed by melanin making it an ideal solution for finer hair on skin types I-III. Because of the high melanin absorption characteristics, it has also been proven to provide long-term results on epidermal pigmented lesions. The 1064 nm Nd:YAG is the safest wavelength for permanent hair reduction on darker skin types and tanned skin. By selecting the appropriate spot size, this laser can also be used for treating facial and leg veins and perform laser genesis procedure.

The ProWave 770 With intense targeting capability; ProWave delivers fast, consistent hair removal results for those with light, fine hair. It’s suitable for small areas such as the upper lip to larger areas like lower legs.

Creating an effective laser hair removal treatment plan depends on several factors, including your skin and hair type, growth patterns, age, and hormonal background. Every client has unique goals, so we recommend booking a free consultation at our North Vancouver clinic. During this session, our experienced staff will assess your needs and create a personalized treatment plan tailored just for you.

Pre-Treatment Instructions:

• Avoid tanning before and after your treatments.

• Do not pluck, tweeze, thread, or wax the treatment area for 8 weeks prior.

• Shave the area 24 hours before your session.

During the Treatment:

• For larger areas (legs, back, etc.), the technician may mark the area for precision.

• A thin layer of water-based ultrasound gel will be applied to keep the skin cool and improve energy delivery.

• You may feel a warm sensation during the procedure.

Post-Treatment Guidelines:

• Apply cold packs if your skin feels warm after the session.

• Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers.

• Avoid sauna, steam rooms, hot showers, baths, and swimming pools for 24 hours.

• Avoid perfumed products or makeup (except mineral makeup) for 24 hours.

• Apply sunscreen with SPF 30–50 for the next 4 weeks.

• Do not pluck, tweeze, thread, or wax the treated hair between sessions.
